LEADERSHIP CONNECTIONS

COVID-19 has changed the way education may look for the future. Changes are being forced upon school leaders much quicker than we ever expected. The transition to online learning has always held promise for student learning, however, implementing it immediately has never been part of the plan. As MAISA shares the guidelines for the coming months we will be discussing how and what others are doing to meet the criteria.

Mi Leadership Connections joins Superintendents together in round-table discussions for the benefit of sharing best practices and improving student achievement. Paul Liabenow and I both know that school leadership has changed tremendously in the 21st Century. Today, leaders face many new challenges that are continually evolving. These challenges are the topics that we address on a regular basis in our Leadership Connections forums across the state.

LEADERSHIP CONNECTIONS

Support for Michigan Leaders

John, It is often said that leadership roles can be very lonely, and as one rises in the ranks, there are fewer and fewer colleagues who are walking in similar shoes. I find the “Hour of Power” that MI Leadership Connection offers to be extremely helpful, as it gives superintendents an opportunity to discuss current issues in the superintendency and to hear solutions or brainstorm!. The opportunity to connect with Paul Liabenow, John Spicko, and fellow superintendents is PRICELESS! Sarah —
